The Work Product
Each excuse is delivered as a bound dossier: a typed itinerary, supporting ephemera, and a sealed envelope you are instructed not to open unless questioned. Documents are aged appropriately. The train ticket has a crease because you sat on it.
Dossiers are hand-delivered by a courier who believes they are delivering estate paperwork.
