The Miller guarantee

If we clear your event day and it rains on your party anyway, the next booking is on us, and Dale personally drives out to look at the sky that did it. This has happened twice since 1962. We keep the photographs of both skies in the office, and neither one of them is welcome back.

On crop rain, we bill on gauge readings, yours and ours. If the gauges disagree, we use yours. Grandpa Emmett set that policy in 1963 and it has cost us almost nothing, because rain is honest work.

All work performed to the tolerances customary in the trade. Rain drift of up to a quarter mile is normal wear. Scheduling is subject to what the upper atmosphere is doing that week, and in this business the upper atmosphere is the other party to every contract. We do not do hurricanes, we do not do lightning on demand, and we do not settle bets between brothers, anymore.
