Where does the rain come from?
Somewhere else. Every inch we deliver is drawn from participating skies. The atmosphere is a big place and most of it is not using its moisture at any given time.
Can you guarantee the weather?
We guarantee the modification. The weather takes it from there. In 64 years the weather has held up its end all but twice, and both times are covered under the Miller guarantee, which you can read about on the services page.
My neighbor's field got rain and I didn't order any. Was that yours?
Rain drift of up to a quarter mile is normal wear in this trade. If it went farther than that, ask your neighbor to check his invoice before you check yours.
What if it was going to rain anyway?
Then you will notice our pricing is very competitive.
Do you do hurricanes?
No. Hurricane work is a franchise operation out of Florida, and we don't care for how those people do business.
Can you make it snow on Christmas?
Yes, and we book out by Labor Day, so call early. Christmas morning delivery costs extra because Kurt has kids.
Can you rain on somebody specific?
We get this call more than you'd think. Miller & Sons delivers weather to properties, not at people. If your brother's property happens to sit where you ordered the rain, that's a matter for your family and your surveyor.
Is the silver iodide safe?
We use less of it per county per year than a photo lab used to pour down the drain in a week. Grandpa Emmett has handled it since 1962 and he is 91, sharp as a tack, and mad at the radar most mornings, which he was anyway.

Do you serve outside the tri-county area?
For weddings and emergencies we will travel, with a mileage charge past 60 miles. For crop work, talk to your local outfit first. If your local outfit is the fellow out of Broken Bow, call us anyway.
