Uptime measures the fraction of the day your cloud existed. This is the honest number. Most storage companies report the fraction of the day their website existed, which flatters everyone.
A region in "Fog advisory" means the cloud is temporarily operating at ground level. Your items are technically closer to you than usual. Please do not go looking for them; fog is our property while deployed.
Retrieval estimates always trail conditions by a day or two. When in doubt, look up. If you can see your region's cloud, so can we, and that is most of our monitoring stack.
